Its all about Joe Hi everyone, for those of you who don't know me, my name is Phil Oliveira and yes I take full responsibility for the mess you see before you. This cartoon came about for a couple of reasons, One because I have always wanted to be a cartoonist, and two well that's about it. The cartoon actually started as an easy way for me to do my Comp and Design homework, the class was kinda cool and the focus was simple DO WHAT EVER IS PERTINENT TO YOUR MAJOR. I, being an Illustration/ EI major at UMD decided that I wanted to draw more than I wanted to make some Photoshop/Lightwave rendered thing so I came up with JOE .The strips for the class were not as "polished" as you see before you , I confess the originals were done the night before they were do and I would just whip em out and receive praise for haveing "such a knack for this stuff" Joe is actually a real person, so are Penguen and Mikey. Joe is one of my good buddies here at UMD and he is always joking about how he is the devil, so one day I thought well there's an Idea and the strip was born for the aforementioned class. Although in real life they look nothing like their cartoon counter part thier "personality traits" do tend to shine through. This strip has been a long time coming, its sort of an off shoot of all of the other strips that I have done before it, only this time I haven't lost interest. Ps. ALL of the characters are copyrighted to me so please do not miss use them in anyway , I am a poor college realize his dream :)
